This remarkable lighthouse, built in 1875, has been declared an endangered structure of historic significance, and has been moved almost 300 feet to protect it from the shore, crumbling from erosion. The North Light station was established in 1829 and is made from granite and iron. The tower stands 55 feet high and features a museum on the first floor. Tours of the lighthouse are available.
